While Iron Man 4 is yet to be announced, rumors about someone replacing Robert Downey Jr. are still going on throughout the net. However on February 14th 2014, Robert Downey Jr. himself stated that he is interested in reprising his role as Iron Man for Iron Man 4 and I'm sure that he should do so and I'll be glad to give all of you very good reasons why he should not be replaced.
While the 4th film is yet to have it's release date announced and plotted out as a James Bond like film as Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has mentioned in previous articles posted throughout the web, I would like to lay out some really important reasons why Robert Downey Jr. has to reprise his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man for the movie not allow anybody else to replace him and his character;
*While having to have portrayd Iron Man since the start of the whole Marvel Cinematic Franchise, Robert Downey Jr. has always looked like the character from the comics which has always made him the character's perfect role model
*Downey has always been good with kids and fans all over the world including the time when he showed up at the convention in July 2012 when so many fans dressed up as Iron Man while celebrating the upcoming 3rd film
* His character still has more experiences to go through and more lessons to learn from both the world and the mistakes he made in the past
*He still has scores to settle the Ten Rings terrorist organization
*And finally, as the perfect cinematic version of Tony Stark and Iron Man, RDJ still has to take on the real Mandarin of the Ten Rings
Yeah that's right. After having to deal with the setback caused by the twist in Iron Man 3 and with director Shane Black making us believe that Guy Pearce's Aldrich Killian was Mandarin's marvel cinematic version, he along with Kevin Feige, Jon Feavreau, and all the cyberbullying scumbags who acted so careless on favoring that extremis powered ripoff over the actual ring blaster from the comics had made life for me any everybody else a major living hell for 9 months since Iron Man 3's theatrical release on May 3rd.
Fortunately it was all thanks to the Marvel One Shot "All Hail the King" that we have ultimately learned that that the Mandarin was never Aldich Killian or Trevor Slattery that the Mandarin's true Marvel Cinematic version, the real leader of the Ten Rings is still out there waiting to reveal himself and we owe it all to Scoot McNairy for his performance in the one shot as Ten Rings operative Jackson Norris.
Surely Marvel Studios wouldn't have done this one shot just over the fans being upset with the treatment on the character in the third film. After all we did get a glimpse at the screenplay which showed how different "The Mandarin"/Trevor Slattery's fate was from the movie that he was originally to be destroyed by an overdose of extremis, but instead of doing that crap, they had him arrested at the end of the movie which very much shows that Fiege and his crew very much knew that we were gonna be very upset and that if they didn't come prepared with a back up plan to fix this issue, things would indeed become a big problem. So to put things into specific sense, that because Ben Kingsley's character in Iron Man 3 was portrayed as the comic inspired version of Iron Man's arch nemesis, they needed him alive so that introducing the real Mandarin for the next Iron Man movie can go right ahead as planned without question nor confusion which will make Iron Man 4 part two of the character's presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it will save us a whole lot of time and trouble waiting and grieving since Feige has planned the cinematic franchise to last 14 more years from now.
Plus while they have the Mandarin ad the Ten Rings set to make their move in Iron Man 4 and have Tony Stark start scouting on their where abouts and plot, Feige and the rest of his staff will make sure that the real Mandarin of that organization uses 10 magic rings this time because of all the different kinds of powers, magic, abilities, and elements that each of them individually possess they are what make the villain totally awesome and a huge favorite and with all that power stored inside those rings, Mandarin is way too good a villain to be wasted and he is definately not the kind of character for anyone at the studio to screw around with either. Of course when they do get the real Mandarin to appear in Iron Man 4, they are gonna make sure his depiction is much more decent than Kingsley's version of the character and after what we've just learned from the one shot, the Mandarin's Marvel Cinematic version may contain similar aspects to the one from Iron Man Armored Adventures that with one Mandarin who serves as the original was a warrior king who ruled man kind for countless generations which was thousands of years ago from today and with one person today being addressed with the name while serving as leader of the Ten Rings.
So when Marvel does get the much proper version of the Mandarin done right for Iron Man 4 with ten magic power rings, a magically enchanced suit of armor forged from the rings, as an adult as tall as RDJ,and younger than Kingsley like Sean Penn or anyone in between ages 45 and 60 who can share a slight resemblance to the Mandarin in the modern day Iron Man comics 500-526 and possess the capability of putting up a real good fight in the film, Robert Downey Jr will definately be needed back to reprise his role as Iron Man because his world in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would not be complete with him taking on his true arch foe who possesses the power of 10 rings and once they do get that awesome fight with the two characters done right with repulsor gauntlets and magic rings and without making the real Mandarin's depiction anyworse or more disappointing than Kingsley, it should all be worth it and we can all be happy to enjoy ourselves without any further complaints about the incident from Iron Man 3.
So for those of you who understand where I'm getting at an are all in favor in my suggestions on what Marvel should do for Iron Man 4, then please be sure to help me get this information over to Feige and many other official staff, employees, and other people in charge of the what to do for the films straight away. We all deserve better than the garbage we've been screwed with in the last movie and we wouldn't be happy waiting any longer than 20 years or more for a reboot and for those of you are either unsure or purposely disagree, please understand this: that the Mandarin from Iron Man 3 was just an experiment and that the one shot that Ben Kingsley starred in was only a taste for the real Mandarin that is yet to come and no this is not an obsession, it's serious this time.
So without further delay or any further opinions, we should get a move on and have Feige see this information regarding Robert Downy Jr's return as Iron Man and the real Mandarin's appearance for Iron Man 4 and get things done right with the two of them this time, straight away as possible.
